Dugdales Celebrate In Style
Lancashire retailer David Dugdale, is reaching for the sky after securing a regional award.
dugdales digital, of Chatburn Rd, Clitheroe took the title for the North of England and Northern Ireland region in the Sky Retailer Awards 2006.
 The firm, which was one of only 6 out of 3,500 in the country to be shortlisted for the award, also secured £5000 towards future advertising.
Sky Sports presenter Mike Wedderburn was MC for the evening and other guests at the event, held at the exclusive Celtic Manor Resort, in South Wales, included soul singer Beverly Knight.
 Mr Dugdale said "I feel that we can be rightly proud of our achievement at dugdales, as we are competing against the cream of retailers from the big cities such as Manchester, Liverpool, Belfast and Londonderry, plus all the other retailers like ourselves. I would like to personally thank all our staff at dugdales who have contributed to this great success."
Mr Dugdale said he now plans to improve on this years position and try to become the National Retailer of the year. Mr Dugdale and his partner, Ann, are pictured (top) at the awards ceremony with Mike Wedderburn, and again (left) with presenter Kelly Dalglish (centre), daughter of former Liverpool Manager Kenny Dalglish.

David was one of the judges in the 2007 awards where he visited retail outlets in and around London and choose the overall winner for this region.
He has also been selected to judge in the 2008 awards.
